Tá deireadh tágtha leis an gclub óige don bhliain ach a leithéid do bhliain a bhí acu. Bhí séisiúin drámaíochta ar súil acu leis an t-aisteoir agus scríobhnóir cáiliúil Diarmuid de Faoite. Chum agus chuir siad a ndráma féin le chéile darbh ainm “AN JCBB” agus rinne muid é a thaifead. Táthar ag súil é a chuir I láthair ar scaileán roimh dheireadh na bliana. D’éirigh linn áit a bhaint amach ar an gclár nua-chumtha “ANFA” a bheas a chraoladh ar Cúla 4 amach anseo. Chomh luath is a bheas dáta againn, cuirfear ar an eolas sibh. Ghlac ceathrar iomaitheoir. as Rang a 2, páirt sna cluiche agus bhí an chuid eile den chlub ag glacadh páirt gníomhach sa chlár mar chuid den lucht féachana. Bhí an-lá againn agus fuair siad ard mholadh ar a gcuid Gaeilge agus béasaí.
Unfortunately, an end has come to the Club Óige for this school year but what a year we have had. The year began with drama sessions from the renowned actor and writer Diarmuid de Faoite. The children really evolved and developed over the sessions which culminated in them creating and producing their own show called “An JCBB”. The homemade costumes were amazing, and we hired a camera man to record the show. We plan to show the children’s production before the end of the year. We were then fortunate to secure a spot on the newly recorded children’s game show “ANFA” which will be shown nationally in the coming months on TG4’s children’s channel Cúla 4. When we are made aware of the date, we will update you all. Four children from 4th Class competed in the show, and the other club members were active in the audience. We had a fantastic day and the group received high praise on their level of Gaeilge as well as how they behaved and engaged with all the team.
